I wasn't sure what to expect in doing the PPEI transmission tune, given I've had a problem with my transmission being in limp mode and not shifting past 3rd gear, engine light stuck on and had my 2011 Duramax (with 300K miles) at 3 shops trying to figure things out. All things were pointing to the TCM, which I understand are hard to find for a 2011 and known to have problems. I contacted PPEI for help (I've had their engine tune since 2015, installed at 90k miles and it works awesome). They suggested the transmission tune and sending my TCM to Circuit Board Medics for repair. I shipped my TCM and forwarded the email with the PPEI tune to Medics, they repaired the TCM and loaded the software tune (turned around in 4-days), my local shop received the TCM back, plugged it in and the truck is running and shifting better than ever! What a relief to get it fixed after being dead/parked almost a year!! Thanks to PPEI and Circuit Board Medics and my local shop Deep Creek Diesel. :)
