Garrett rates its PowerMax for the 2.0L EA888 Evo4 to 550 BHP (410kW), and in Garrett's on-vehicle dyno testing it made 520 BHP (383kW) and 425 ft-lb (576Nm).

It flows 20% more on the compressor side and 37% more on the turbine side than the OE turbo, all inside the OEM footprint. The Mar-M alloy turbine wheel and the stainless steel, internally wastegated turbine housing are rated up to 1050°C. It comes as a complete assembly with a calibrated electric actuator and a fully machined speed sensor port, and CARB EO D-871-2 covers the 2022-2024 Volkswagen Golf R 2.0L.
