Fleece Coolant Bypass Kit w/SS Braided Line for 1994-1998 Dodge Ram 5.9L 12V Cummins

Is your 12 valve working hard and running hot in the back? A Fleece bypass evens out all six cylinders.

The rear cylinders on the 5.9/6.7L Cummins get less coolant flow and run the hottest. That can build pressure in the cooling system, especially at the rear of the block, and blow out freeze plugs or the smaller plugs under the valve cover. Fleece's bypass adds a secondary thermostat that, unlike other brands, works on temperature instead of excessive pressure, keeping all six cylinders even.

This version uses stainless steel braided line.

Why we run it

Keep the back of your 12 valve as cool as the front. This bypass adds a thermostat that opens on temperature, sends coolant to the rear cylinders and stops the pressure buildup that pushes out freeze plugs. The stainless braided line and AN O-ring fittings make it leak-free. PPEI recommends the Fleece bypass for any Cummins that works for a living, and we run Fleece bypass kits on our own trucks.
