Fleece Coolant Bypass Kit for 2019-2024 Ram 6.7L Cummins

FPEFPE-CLNTBYPS-CUMMINS-19

Bought a 2019 or newer Ram with the 6.7L? It has the same hot rear cylinder issue as the older Cummins, and Fleece has a bypass built for it.

The rear cylinders on the 6.7L get less coolant flow and run the hottest. The pressure that builds can blow out freeze plugs on the block or under the valve cover. Fleece's patent pending design adds a secondary thermostat that, unlike other brands, works on temperature, not excessive pressure, keeping all six cylinders even. It integrates for an OE fit-and-finish.

Benefits

  • Lowers coolant temperature at the rear cylinders
  • Ensures consistent temperatures across all six cylinders
  • Prevents damaging coolant pressure build up
  • Secondary thermostat that works on temperature, not excessive pressure
  • Braided hose and AN O-ring fittings for a leak-free install

Specs

  • Status: Patent pending
  • Engine: 6.7L Cummins
  • Part number: FPE-CLNTBYPS-CUMMINS-19
  • CARB EO: D-834-5

Why we run it

The newer 6.7L still has the same rear cylinder cooling problem, and this kit is the fix. Fleece's temperature based secondary thermostat evens out coolant temps across all six cylinders and keeps pressure from building, with an OE style fit and finish and braided hose. PPEI recommends this bypass on the newer 6.7L, and we run Fleece bypass kits on our own trucks.
