The Fleece L5P fuel filter upgrade kit changes you over from the stock cartridge style filter to a spin-on canister. You get more filter capacity, longer change intervals and more filter options. The anodized billet aluminum base keeps the OE sandwich style heating element, uses quick disconnect fittings, and installs in the same spot as the stock base.

Why we run it
Trade the L5P's cartridge filter for a spin-on canister and you get more filter capacity, longer change intervals and more filter options. The anodized billet base keeps fuel flowing across the PTC heating element, so it still works the way it should in cold weather, and it mounts in the stock location with quick disconnects for an OE quality fit. There's even a port for monitoring fuel pressure. PPEI recommends this kit for the L5P, and we run Fleece filter bases on our own trucks.
