The Honda Talon is well-engineered, but its ignition system is a weak point when running turbochargers, bigger injectors or high-compression pistons.

The Yawpower Coil on Plug Conversion Kit addresses this issue with a high output Bosch ignition coil in a coil on plug arrangement. 

No more plug wires.  No more misfires.  And no more limit to how far you can push your mods.

The kit consists of high current Bosch ignition coils, mounting bracket, hardware, and plug and play electrical harness.  No wiring is required, and it can be installed with common hand tools.

Use of the Yawpower Coil on Plug Conversion requires a re-flash to update the coil dwell values in the ECU.  This can be done with a Dynojet Powervision PV3.

For those who have a Powervision, the updated dwell tables are provided as a Dynojet Value File. To download the file, follow the link to the instructions below. 

For those who do not own a Dynojet Powervision flash tool, any one of our dealers can supply one with the dwell table pre-programmed.

Exceeded my expectations

Bought this kit to try and help the overall smoothness of the machine through the power band. My expectations were exceeded for sure. The kit is super high quality and the instructions that you scan from a QR code are very clear, however if you are handy with a wrench you won't need the instructions other than for matching up wire colors. The machine idles much smoother and feels snappier through the midrange for sure. I have a turbo machine and always had a small dead spot at certain rpm and that is gone. As always Erik was able to tweak my turn to accommodate these coils. Highly recommend them to anyone wanting that extra little bit out of their talon. I can't speak for NA machines but there's no way these couldn't be a benefit.
