I ordered a 2014 Ram 3500 Larmie crew cab 4x4 new. I had 2 major issues. The truck would eat up tires and constantly vibrate. I had to get 13 front end alignments and balance the tires every 10,000 miles. The second issues is when traveling 70 MPH the truck would slow down to 55 MPH when you pushed the accelerator to the floor. The trans would loose 15MPH while figuring out what gear to go into. If you were traveling at a constant speed the converter would decouple anytime you touched the accelerator. The shifting was inconsistent and un predictable. If you tried passing someone on a two lane rode, you may not make it because the truck had abousolutly no acceleration. After fighting with Ram and the dealer for 3 years, I just quit driving the truck. After 11 years the truck finally runs the way it should. I fix the alignment issue by not going to Daytona Ram and paying out of pocket to have someone who knows what they are doing aline it. The vibration went away because Michilen finally came out with the Platinum LTX Defender. Last but not least, PPEI fixed the driveablity problem. I purchased both the trany tune and the 130HP tune. The truck accelerates every time you hit the gas and all the shifting points are now correct. I hope this information helps anyone with the same issues.
I Bought ezlynk to tune my Aisin transmission because we use this truck hard ! If you have ever towed heavy in the hills you will know their is some major issues with the stock tuning this fixed all of our complaints ! Will be doing the other 4 asap
When I purchased the truck I had no complaints on it, UNTIL I really started to drive it. The laggy delayed shifts, the flares between shifts, the luuuuuuuggggging then quick revs really shocked me.
After installing your tune I IMMEDIATELY realized that all the “issues” or complaints I was having were GONE.

The Aisin trans tuning is great, especially with larger than stock tires. Shift points and lockup strategy is much better.
Logan was great and informative. The Aisin Transmission tuning fixed the my tranny issues, especially the downshift from 2nd gear to 1st gear. It had that hard jerk when coming to a complete stop. very impressed and satisfied. Thanks Logan and PPEI!!!!!
